Why HOVER wants you:

HOVER is looking for an analytical and creative leader to steer our pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy. Your background ideally includes a combination of pricing, management consulting, business operations or analytics at a SaaS/technology company or broad spectrum career experience that leaves you hungry for a role that both gives you latitude to pave your own path and opportunity to drive an outsized impact within HOVER.

As our Director of Monetization, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer, joining a fast growing Marketing organization. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a strong sense of ownership and is excited to act both strategically (to scale our business in the right ways long term) as well as operationally (to personally advance key pricing initiatives). This relatively  autonomous position is strongly supported cross-functionally throughout the company.

With a growing suite of tools for construction professionals and insurance carriers, the HOVER business model is quite unique, with our core 3D measurements product priced transactionally, yet with extremely high repeat use by tens of thousands of small businesses, large organizations, and large insurance carrier adjuster workforces. In 2022, HOVER began a rapid expansion of our product line, with highly successful new products that are broadening and deepening our professional offerings, even beginning to offer Homeowners new and unrivaled, easy to use consumer visualization tools.

All combined, our historical and emerging product lineup offers the right candidate a greenfield opportunity to research, test and offer new pricing and packaging solutions that will drive the company’s growth as a core value pillar. Excellent analytical chops, sharp business acumen, creativity, and a team-first mindset are the foundations for success in this role.

Your background includes:

  • 8+ years overall work experience in management consulting, business operations, analytics, pricing/monetization, or similar functions, with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Ideally, at least 2-3 years experience in a monetization, pricing or similar finance capability, driving SaaS, transactional, marketplace, or other packaging and pricing recommendations, launches and ongoing improvements.
  • Broad business acumen, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to quickly build concise points of view.
  • Strong quantitative experience and the ability to ‘talk data’ to those who don’t have your same experience (but you don’t need to be a data scientist).
  • A proven ability to partner cross-functionally, with skill and confidence communicating to all levels of senior mgt.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar BI tools is required.
